The project seeks to reinforce Europe\u2019s autonomy in ground-based atmospheric remote sensing, which plays a key role in the calibration and validation of satellite missions focused on aerosols and trace gases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A central objective is to coordinate and reorganize European efforts through the development of a unified software platform, also referred to as SYMPHONIA, aimed at reducing Europe\u2019s dependence within the AERONET ecosystem.
