Scientific Objetives

This new extension of the ESA Projects aims at refining the LIME model developed in the previous ESA Project. The specific tasks in this new project are the following:

• Development of a LIME dedicated website
• Maintenance of the LIME toolbox and associated documentation
• Comparison of the LIME-TBX output to hyperspectral lunar datasets​
• Improvement of the LIME model through:
  • Processing and modelling the lunar degree of linear polarisation modelling, and including the models in the LIME-TBX
  • Adding an additional spectral channel around 2 micron for the LIME measurements
    
  • Improving the spectral interpolation of the LIME reflectance output
